New Ownership for the Blue Bell Inn

The historic Blue Bell Inn restaurant and cafe in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania will be under new ownership, as of September 2012 the longtime owner and executive chef John Lamprecht will enter retirement after 49 years.  The Lamprecht family has owned the Inn since 1945.

Bruce Goodman, owner of Goodman Properties, will take over the Inn in hopes of breathing new life into the neighborhood favorite.

Market History

Total Inventory in Montgomery County was down 17.3% in July 2012 compared to July 2011. 

Settled (24%) and Pending (11%) units both saw a major uptick, hopefully showing signs of a continnued, strong market for the remainder of the year.

Through July 2012, Montgomery County has settled 4,169 units at an average price of $312,000.

Market Update

The second half of the year is off to a fast start, with Pending units up 17% & Sold units up 13% in July '12.
